The award dinner will return to the iconic Hotel du Pont, bringing together Delaware’s most influential business leaders for an evening of connection and inspiration. This year’s celebration will once again shine a spotlight on the state’s most promising change-makers, honoring those who, like Governor du Pont, continue to drive innovation and progress across Delaware and beyond.
Announcing the 2025 Honoree
The Pete du Pont Freedom Foundation is proud to announce that Rob Siegfried, Founder and CEO of The Siegfried Group (Siegfried), has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the prestigious Pete du Pont Freedom Award. This honor recognizes Rob, his family, and his company for their outstanding entrepreneurial leadership and philanthropic contributions, which have fostered meaningful relationships throughout the state of Delaware and across the nation.
A proud Delawarean, Rob earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics from the University of Delaware (UD) before starting his career at Arthur Young. In 1988, he founded Siegfried, a relationship-driven, entrepreneurial organization that helps CFOs and executive teams clarify what matters most – and then delivers elite financial talent to make it happen.
Rob continues to serve as the CEO of Siegfried, which now has offices in 19 cities across the United States, including its headquarters in Wilmington, DE, and employs nearly 1,400 people. The Firm serves more than 350 Fortune 1000 companies and dynamic growth organizations, assisting with their most strategic priorities, including mergers and acquisitions, IPO readiness, carve-outs and systems implementations.
