Wilmington Green Box was selected as a co-winner of PDFF’s 2017 Reinventing Delaware. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit centered upon providing entrepreneurial jobs for local at-risk teens, while supplying urban communities, labeled as food deserts, with direct access to fresh produce, cold pressed juices and other healthy goods. Through Wilmington Green Box’s success, the founders went on to launch Green Box Kitchen, a fast-casual 100% plant based restaurant. Green Box Kitchen won Best Vegan/Vegetarian Friendly Restaurant in 2020 through Best of Delaware and was named the Top Vegan Restaurant in Delaware by Yelp. The restaurant recently opened its second location as a vendor at the DECO food hall in downtown Wilmington. Click HERE to read their announcement.

Wilmington Green Box and Green Box Kitchen co-founder/owner Jason Aviles, a Delaware Top 40 Under 40 Achiever and Innovator by The Delaware Business Times, remains active within PDFF as both a Reinventing Delaware Alumni and Equitable Entrepreneurial Ecosystem (E3) Ambassador.
